Topic of Presentation:

Many companies already had a remote work policy in place pre-Covid, however the advent of the Global Pandemic forced companies to adapt their policies and operations and become more agile in their approach.

Adapting to changing conditions requires a paradigm shift in balancing quality, performance, and delivery of operational objectives, against the restrictions introduced.

The manufacturing environment has historically been under significant pressure locally and globally, and the detrimental effects of Covid had further negative impacts on business continuity.

There is therefore a significant drive in all markets to improve business intelligence, efficiencies and be able to get a real time view of what is happening in their operations.

Manufacturing Execution Systems (M.E.S.) and Manufacturing Operations Management systems (M.O.M.) provide mechanisms that are instrumental in bridging the gap between Operations and Administration, as well as OT and IT, and fundamentally create cohesive eco-systems across business units.

The aggregation of data from multiple business units in real time is a significant benefit to the management of any manufacturing entity, providing visibility across local or global operations, made possible by the wider use of M.E.S. and M.O.M. systems worldwide and improvements of manufacturing processes that stem from their use.

From an execution perspective, transparent communications with customers, optimising development and management systems, allows teams to remotely deliver quality integration solutions for customers.
