Wednesday, July 26, 2023 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Come share your experiences, stories, questions, and what you have learned in a safe, non-commercial environment. We seek to understand the state-of-the market, understand what companies have done that has or has not worked, documenting questions that MESA and the community can help answer. Overall, the goal is to accelerate each participant’s learning and progress toward Smart Manufacturing.

Topic: Driving Value: Revenue-Generating Use Cases

In recent years, Digital Thread and Digital Twin technologies have emerged as transformative forces, driving value and creating new revenue opportunities across various industries. The Digital Thread concept involves the seamless integration and flow of data throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design and manufacturing to maintenance and end-of-life phases. The convergence of these technologies opens up a plethora of revenue-generating use cases that organizations can leverage to gain a competitive edge and fuel innovation, i.e. predictive maintenance, allowing organizations to monitor the asset's health in real-time to help predict and prevent potential failures or breakdowns, optimizing maintenance schedules, reducing downtime, and minimizing operational costs.

Questions to start the discussion:

  • How are you currently identifying / creating DTDT revenue generating use cases?
  • What are your best practices for driving business value utilizing DTDT solutions?
  • Can you share your approach for generating DTDT business value use cases?
  • What areas of business generate the most value for DTDT solutions?
  • Who can help us create revenue generating business value use cases for DTDT solutions?
