Overall, the goal is to accelerate each participant’s learning and progress toward Smart Manufacturing.

Manufacturing operations software has always been challenging to select and maintain. There are two big factors in that: every plant is unique, and ideally each process is constantly changing and improving. So, how can you select and manage software to ensure it fits well enough to get benefits and also can keep up with the processes and needs as they change?

• How can you determine whether a particular application truly fits your needs when you don’t have training in it?
• What are keys to success in ensuring software keeps up with changes to products, processes, materials, and facilities?
• Low-code/no-code: get what you want, but is it a long-term trade-off in governance and updates?
• Composable software: can you now get beyond monolithic and rigid to have what you want at all times
• How can you balance corporate standardization and unique facility needs?
• What is the role of a Manufacturing IT center of expertise?
