Topic:  Rearchitecting the Supply Chain for Geopolitical Changes

At our last meeting in Smart Connected Factory, we discussed what is required to reshore manufacturing. That’s just one element of how companies are reimagining their supply chains to counter dramatic changes in the geopolitical situation. We will discuss as many elements as the gathered members want, with guiding questions such as:

• Are you making significant changes in your supply chain and ecosystem of plants and partners? Either way, how is that going?
• Political changes and tariffs are not new in the world. Are you seeing special concern or attention on these topics right now? Does it vary by headquarters or production site location?
• Access to materials that are prevalent in certain regions has long been an issue for manufacturers. Are there specific materials or sub-products your company needs that pose challenges right now? How are you managing it?
• What are the top objectives for your supply chain to be successful today? Can it remain fully global, or are you regionalizing it?
• How do supply changes create challenges in your product
