Press Release: MESA International Announces Worldwide Virtual Event and Opens Call for Speakers

CHANDLER, ARIZ., September 7, 2022 — MESA International today announced a new 2022 Virtual Event: Smart Manufacturing Now! to be held December 5-8.  The event will highlight Smart Manufacturing through the years, where we are at NOW and some predictions on what the future looks like. The inaugural event will also celebrate MESA’s 30th year showcasing excellence around Smart Manufacturing.

“MESA has operated as a non-profit mostly virtually for many years,” said John Clemons, chair of the event planning committee for MESA International.  “Coordinating a large virtual event for our global audience just made sense. We’re excited about the educational content for the event that will feature solutions for manufacturers of all sizes and locations. We’re going to provide folks with use cases that can be applied to our newest MESA Model: A Framework for Smarter Manufacturing.”

MESA has also opened the call for speakers for the event online at https://mesa.org/call-for-speakers/.  Interested presenters are encouraged to submit a proposed presentation title and a 250 to 300 word abstract for consideration by September 16.  Speakers will be selected and notified by the week of September 26.
